Question: The Thai people very much seem to do the take one day at a time method to happiness, believing if you look too far into the “what ifs” of the future, of course you will be sad and anxious. My question to you, my friends… do you think we can live a day by day mentality in modern society?


I was watching Rainn Wilson’s show “The Geography of Bliss”, the episode taking place in Thailand. Towards the end, the Monk he is speaking with literally brought me to tears with his words. Now that was an unexpected start to the morning.


Is there such a thing as a notebook or paper that is specifically attuned to using a pencil?

I’m at that point where I yet again ponder making #MicroBlog my one and only #activitypub source.


I’ve see all the congratulations to Ozzy for getting into the Rock n Roll hall of fame, which is deserved. But I thought he would have been in ages ago, why so long? Between Black Sabbath and his solo career, could they move any slower?


The make life more positive experiment!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the negative I absorb throughout my day-to-day existence as of late. I wonder what effect it has on me, as in mood or attitude. I tend to like violent TV shows or old country songs about revenge or killing in some fashion. Not that I don’t like positive stuff, but the trend is toward the rougher things. This has me wanting to do an experiment for a while, where I try to listen and watch much more positive entertainment.
