The make life more positive experiment!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the negative I absorb throughout my day-to-day existence as of late. I wonder what effect it has on me, as in mood or attitude. I tend to like violent TV shows or old country songs about revenge or killing in some fashion. Not that I don’t like positive stuff, but the trend is toward the rougher things. This has me wanting to do an experiment for a while, where I try to listen and watch much more positive entertainment.

To much tech?

As of late, I have wondered if my natural interest in technology is good for me at all. I mean, I know there is much good that comes through technological discovery and advancement, but I am not involved in any of that. I sit and ponder operating systems, what editor is the best, what service should I use for this or that. Furthermore, I am not the one advancing things myself, I more or less use and critique them at best.

Diets

For the past decade or so I have jumped around diet to diet, or lifestyle some would say. I’ve done a lot of them, and some I stuck with and some I haven’t. But lord knows I have tried a bunch. Sitting by open windows.

I'm sitting here looking out the window, here in southern Wisconsin. It's a beautiful day with the bugs all doing their chirping. Since I was little, I loved open windows in the house. There is nothing better than fresh air and feeling a breeze work it's way through the house to another open window, on the other side. Here in Wisconsin, we have lots of days that allow for open windows.

I didn't choose to be a nomad..

Since about 1999 or so, we have been fairly nomadic. Mainly due to work and school items within the family. It’s been quite the rollercoaster. Here is a small summary of what’s gone down. Around the end of 1999 we moved from Dallas, TX to Staten Island, NY where we stayed for three years. From Staten Island, we moved to Huntington, WV and ended up staying only six months. From Huntington we moved here to Beloit, WI, where we’ve been almost 8 months now.

Back at Hey!

The past weeks, I’ve been on my usual round of jumping around email clients. I was on Proton for quite a long time, then I figured I would go back to Apple and iCloud+, which then led me back to Fastmail. The sad thing is that I have jumped all around these different providers before. On all of them, I spend a ton of time tweaking, setting up filters, add domains, etc…
